#YOLO

While I was looking at my notes, thinking about what I’m going to do next, a wide grin suddenly appeared on my face, realizing that I have tried so many things that I’m not used to doing.  It gave me an unexplainable joy – these remarkable experiences. These are the things that I will not forget nor regret. I may spend thousand s of money but the happiness they bring me and the moments shared with others are priceless.

I get a special kind of high and such wonderful feelings when I am on top of a mountain looking the ground below and the blue skies above…. That’s truly awesome! Imagining crazy little things, taking a deep breath and smiling and turning around with arms spread like an eagle in flight as if the world is mine and uttering the words “Thanks God, I’m blessed”.

The excitement that my heart felt every time there is an out of town trip that I look forward to the different delicacies, the experience of different cultures and activities. Satisfying my love of beaches, falls, river, white sand, clear water, trees, animals, sun, moon and stars.

The warm welcome of the animal I’ve encountered like a large python, which at first felt that touching him will cause a heart attack but thankfully did not.  Carrying a “pawikan” in Pawikan island in guimaras where there actually is only one pawikan. J  And swimming with the whale sharks which somehow gave me heart aches because they are supposed to be free from the people around them, finding their own food and not being the main source of the people’s income… Whoaaaah, How was that?

Life has so much to offer, I just need to explore it.  Today as I reminince all the good things I had, I thank God for letting me live my life. I thank my Inay and Tatay for bringing me into this wonderful world and of course Clara, my travel buddy, for introducing and sharing her activities and interests (books, mountains, beaches, good deeds, animals, but not dogs, etc.) with me.  My funds will be useless without me enjoying it.
It’s my Birthmonth!
